As business owners, we sometimes forget the most important person to take care of is us. This month at SLCircle revolves around the theme of health and wellness. We have gathered several experts in the area for our Marquee event as well as lunch and learns to find out more about the latest in the health and wellness industry. Live a healthier life with our panel of experts health tips and find the latest news for personal wellness, fitness, diet and relationships at this event.

Summer Kaye Milkovich - Summer Kaye Fitness

There are few in the fitness industry with the unbridled enthusiasm Summer Milkovich puts into her work. After spending fifteen years working in corporate America in both the marketing and insurance arenas, Summer took the leap of faith to chase her passion for inspiring others to adopt a healthier way of life through physical fitness and nutrition.

Summer is a three-time fitness competitor in both the NGA and NPC Bikini divisions and is currently training for her fourth competition. She is the owner of Summer Kaye Fitness, LLC where she conducts hands-on personal training and nutrition coaching. She is the sole creator of the “Bikini Body by Summer” 90-day transformation program which combines circuit style workouts with strategic meal plans to help individuals lose weight and gain lean muscle. She has a degree in mass communication and is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).

In 2017, Summer expanded her services to working with cancer survivors to help them strengthen their bodies and boost their immune systems. Summer is deeply passionate about this cause and was inspired by her mother, a two-time breast cancer survivor and a personal hero of hers. While still in its infancy, Survivor Fitness has already been effecting change and growing rapidly.

In her free time, Summer enjoys spending time with her husband and two step-children. Her hobbies include hiking, camping, boating, fishing, writing, and trying out new healthy recipes.

Jason Latas - Summer Body Now

Jason Latas of Summer Body Now has been an adventure guide and personal trainer for 25 years and specializes in working with entrepreneurs. He has personally guided many Fortune 500 CEOs and major business owners on custom adventures across the globe. He also personally trains many traveling sales professionals to help them stay fit while traveling and running their businesses. He enjoys helping people feel good in their skin again and perform better in their personal and business lives.

Jason has been featured in The New York Times, The L.A. Times, Spa Magazine, Modern Bride, Conde Naste, as well as on ESPN, The Travel Channel, Ford Adventure Outfitters, Planet X TV and many other national and international venues. Many of these videos can be seen on YouTube.

He has worked with Fortune 500 CEOs, doctors, lawyers, extreme athletes, entrepreneurs, models and everyday people that just want to take charge of their lives instead of feeling as though life is controlling them.

Before moving to Utah, Jason owned an adventure company in Maui for 10 years where he took guests hiking, biking, scuba diving, sailing, kayaking and on custom designed adventures designed around health and fitness. While in Hawaii he raced outrigger canoes, mountain biked and competed in triathlons among many other sports activities.

Crystal Nyman - Blues to Bliss

Although business comes naturally for her, Crystal’s passion is helping others. Raised with the philosophy that holistic and natural remedies are sought first, Crystal has a diverse background in health and wellness. She completed her personal training certification in 2003, yet was seeking to understand the deeper wisdom of healing through mind-body connection, which led her to the Journey Practitioner’s Program.

She received her certification in 2007 for Journey therapy, an alternative healing modality. She guides her clients on a journey of healing emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Crystal was introduced to doTERRA in 2009. Having had prior experience in other network marketing companies, this one stood out to her as unique. She feels that essential oils were a return to the wisdom of the ancients.

Crystal has since become one of doTERRA’s top leaders, instilling others with the confidence that they too can live a life from blues to bliss.

Crystal resides in Kaysville, Utah, with her husband Jeff and their four kids. She enjoys travel, outdoor adventure, cooking, music, and golf.

Atim Effiong - EffiFit

Atim Effiong is a wellness coach for busy professionals who are ready to fit fitness back into their lives. Atim has a bachelor degree in Exercise Science and a masters degree in Public Health. She is a certified through the American College of Sports Medicine as an exercise physiologist and is Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certified. Atim has had experience working with challenging working populations to get them fit and healthy on their schedule and has researched the effects of various jobs on the working population’s health. She is a Utah native and is growing appreciation for the outdoors.


Nicholas Hundley - Mindwhale

Nicholas Hundley, MS, CNS, is the director and founder of The MindWhale Clinic in Salt Lake City, Utah. He specializes in mental health nutrition, helping clients with a wide range of mental disorders to recover and live happy, productive, meaningful lives. In contrast to the traditional psychiatric healthcare model, Nicholas identifies and treats the root causes of brain health imbalances for genuine and lasting transformation.

Nicholas has a master's degree in biochemistry and has studied brain health and illness extensively. He worked for several years in medical laboratory research. Since his transition to the clinic, he has translated his knowledge of brain and body chemistry to helping individuals overcome lifelong challenges they didn't know they could overcome.


Dr. Nguyet Nguyen - The Specific Chiropractic Center

Dr. Nguyet Nguyen graduated from Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, Texas; after receiving her Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree.

Additionally, she has attended many seminars including specialized postgraduate training presented by Dr. Shawn Dill (1995 graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic) called The Art of The Specific. This seminar relates to care for upper cervical specific chiropractic. Dr. Nguyet has served people in El Salvador with upper cervical care.

She is currently working at the Specific Chiropractic Center in Draper Utah. Their philosophy is to “empower our communities to make smart choices relative to their health and wellness.

Her philosophy as a chiropractor is to inspire and empower people to make smart choices for themselves and provide comprehensive and empathetic care to her patients. She includes everyone in the family and establishes a respectful and open relationship with her patients. This collaboration to work together prevents illness, manages chronic diseases, and achieves overall good health. She believes in a world without limitations.
